Smoothies to Get Your Morning Started

Jump Start to your Morning!

These smoothies are clean recipes that use whole and natural foods.  Each one is packed with protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats so you'll be full and ready for your day!

1. Coconut Milk Smoothie
- 1 cup light coconut milk
- Large ripe banana
- 1 cup raw spinach
- 2 tablespoons dried coconut flakes (unsweetened)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2. Cinnamon Chai Tea Banana Smoothie
Add a scoop of grass-fed whey protein powder to this to boost high levels of both omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids!
- 6 oz cup pre-brewed chai tea, cooled
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
- 1 frozen banana

- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 5 ice cubes

3. Immune Booster Orange Smoothie
-  1 cup of loosely packed sweet potato puree (1 large potato, skin removed)
- 1/4 tsp each ground turmeric, cinnamon and ginger
- 1/2 Tbs flaxseed meals or chia seeds
- 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk                   
- Handful of ice
- Optional: 1 Tbs of Almond butter
-Optional: 1/4 cup of orange juice
